As a queer provider I can relate to the lack of resources available to marginalized populations, so I want to help fill that gap. Working with people who have struggled with systemic oppression and identity formation gives my work meaning and depth – I am here to hear you, support you and advocate for you.
I stive to provide quality LGBTQ+ mental health care for socially vulnerable, affected populations that struggle to identify with conventional medication management providers. My diverse employment and educational background in the heart of the TL, San Francisco, has informed my patient-centered, trauma-focused practice model which allows me to connect with individuals who are open to insight formation and change. I am specifically adept at assisting the trans population with psychiatric evaluations for the initiation of gender-affirming care as well as long term psychiatric care if that is also warranted – this is a community that I could only dream of supporting as much as it has supported me.
Health starts with a patient owning their need for care. I am a strong believer that every individual has the agency to show up for themselves and make space in their life for growth – and I will be with you every step of the way no matter how big or small.
