I am a licensed clinical child psychologist (CT & NY) specializing in affirming, trauma-informed care for transgender and nonbinary youth, LGBTQ+ teens and adults, and their families. My work is grounded in developmental science, cultural humility, and a deep commitment to gender-affirming practice. I help clients navigate identity exploration, safety and belonging, family communication, transitions, and the emotional impact of minority stress.
I am trained in gender-affirming care consistent with WPATH Standards of Care and have extensive experience supporting youth and families through social transition, medical decision-making, and school-based advocacy. My clinical background includes work with LGBTQ+ youth in outpatient, school-based, and multidisciplinary medical settings, with a focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, identity development, and complex family dynamics.
I strive to create a space where queer and trans clients feel understood, celebrated, and supported. My approach integrates evidence-based therapies (CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies) with an affirming, collaborative style that centers autonomy and lived experience. I also work closely with parents and caregivers to build gender literacy, increase acceptance, and strengthen family relationships.
I provide telehealth services across Connecticut and New York and welcome referrals for transgender and nonbinary youth, LGBTQ+ young adults, and families seeking affirming mental health care.
