I’m a cisgender gay man who grew up in a small, rural, conservative area with a religious upbringing, so I understand the difficulties of life in the closet and the challenges that come with navigating identity in those circumstances. I provide care that’s affirming, inclusive, and centered around meeting people where they’re at. While I don’t specialize in gender-affirming care like hormone therapy, my focus on mental health, addiction, ADHD, and men’s health creates a safe, supportive space for gay, lesbian, and bisexual folks to address the issues impacting their daily lives. From managing identity stress to tackling anxiety, depression, or addiction, I aim to provide care that respects and celebrates who you are.
My clinical background includes years of working with people from diverse communities, including gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I’ve completed trainings on LGBTQ+ health disparities and culturally competent care, and I’m constantly learning from the people I work with every day. My approach is collaborative and judgment-free, whether it’s helping someone talk through mental health struggles or working together to create a care plan that fits their personal goals. While I fully support the transgender community, I don’t specialize in transgender care and believe in connecting people with providers who can offer the best possible support. Everyone deserves care that feels inclusive, affirming, and built around who they are.
