My personal identities as a child of immigrants, a queer, cisgender woman, and a millennial deeply inform my practice. My own journey navigating cultural expectations and societal norms taught me how profoundly these systems can impact mental health and safety. This lived experience drives my passion for working with the global majority (BIPOC), children of immigrants, fat/larger-bodied folks, and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
My approach is grounded in fat liberation, anti-racism, and an intersectional, sex-positive lens. I offer a blend of talk therapy to explore your story and Brainspotting to process deeper somatic and emotional trauma, providing a holistic path to healing. Having spent the majority of my career supporting people of color through various life phases, I offer a space where we can safely explore body safety, grounding, complex emotions, family dynamics, and generational patterns. My hope is that you will gain a deeper understanding of yourself, celebrate your identity, and recognize the innate tools you already possess for your wellness.
I believe in bringing our whole selves into the room—and that includes joy. In my own life, I find it through anime, video games, and board games, and I welcome incorporating these interests into our sessions when appropriate. Our work together will be filled with self-compassion as we integrate mind, body, and spirit to heal your relationships with yourself and others.
